Getting Celise home is just the first step in the journey. We have a long road to recovery, and may need to be away from home for quite a while. Any extra funds will go towards covering the following:
- $14,000 insurance out of pocket
- $2,000 ambulance across the Polish border
- $1,000 for travel relating to her emergency passport
- Accommodation, food, and car rental during her hospital stay, which will likely be 3-6 months
- Pet care for our extended trip
- Flights for the three of us to go home to Washington
- And most importantly, continued medical care for Celise
